u know wad? ytd i went to Bukit Timah Nature Park... CAN U BELIEVE DAT? i totally cannot believe it myself.. cant imagine myself being one who climbs slopes and walks forest trails.. but i did dat ytd! T_T NUS simply tortures me. i think i've seen enough forests and trees for a lifetime. (PS. i know i cant compare the amt i went thru wif NS men. my fren is aleadi constantly reminding me abt it... =p ) but still, u all know i've nv been much of a nature-loving kind of person.. like to see pictures, mabe.. but not the real thing! >_<


and from these expeditions (yea i call them expeditions..) i realise i really am extremely afraid of heights and steep slopes. whenever i am on such places, i juz keep having the feeling dat i will fall and roll downhill~~!!! y do i haf this kind of phobia!! issit even a proper phobia? the problem is, the practicals haf tons of slopes for us to go up and down on... and whenever we went down, i'll squeal and shriek and inch down slowly. and lk says i look like 'bai kar' (--meaning crippled or smthg..) haiz dat man has no sympathy at all. i wonder how jl manage to stay alive wif him. =S


and we witnessed the nature in its wildest side.. (with an urgh and ack) we saw monkeys! being city-caged, we were all overly amused by the monkeys. one of them had food with it when it stop abt 10m away from us, sitting on a dead trunk uphill of us. we were wondering if it had a banana with it, cuz the thing was long and thick. and den we realised it was.....horrors.... a huge caterpillar!!!! yes it is!! its abt 15cm long and 2cm thick!! the monkey was rubbing it against the trunk, getting rid of the hairs (urgh) and then it rolled it up with a piece of leaf and took a big bite (ack!!) >.< oh my gosh... i couldnt believe wad i saw. it was eating the fattest caterpillar i've ever seen! whichever grossed me out more, i cant tell. anyway, we watched for abt 15mins..


and den we made our way out.. more climbing.. if not for me being so afraid of slopes (and i mean steep ones) and it being my 'time of the month' .. i might actualli find it to be quite interesting.. quite sad dat i nv bring camera along wif me for the trips..
