it was nice talking to them... laughed a lot n talked a lot abt wad's new in our lives..

and we discussed abt our bfs/potential bfs/single lifes. this shows dat we r concerned abt each other's personal lives and we do not treat it as mere cheapskate gossips. unlike some moronic ppl who think so. it is gossip if u discussed abt other ppl's lives behind their back, but not when u are discussing abt your own and each other's lives in front of everyone! moreover, we treat each other as close frens. not simply insignificant aquaintances! unless of cuz, u think we r insignificant to u. well then, i'm not interested in ur problems too. shoo off

i think, instead of blaming ppl for not showing u enuff concern like they used to, mabe u shd try to think and reflect abt urself. wad have u done to make ur own frens shun away from u? if u constantly think the world is unfair to you, and everyone else is at fault for smthg in ur life, den mabe u r juz self-centered. well not juz mabe, but definitely so.

went out on xmas eve for dinner.. was a last min plan as i tot we were gg to zy's house at 1st. anyway, cm brot me to the restaurant at Jurong Hill to haf teppanyaki! my 1st time having it cuz i always find it too warm and oily to sit so near the sizzling meat. but it was veri delicious.. yummy! if u guys r interested in gg there, it's juz beside the jurong bird park. there's indonesian and jap food. haha..

after dat, we decided it was too early to go home n went to The Cathay for a movie. had wanted to watch some xmas film but all were fully sold!!! T_T so in the end we watched sneak preview of Death Note 2. at 11.30pm but in the end still almost fully sold u know? it's crazy! muz be the weather.. everyone coming into the cinemas to hide from the irritating drizzle.. the movie was veri veri nice! ending quite unexpected as well.. i've nv read the manga, so i realli had no idea wad was gg to happen next. hehe..

b4 we went for the movie, we still had 2 hours to spend.. so we went to try out the bar cum restaurant called Giraffe. it was not impressive to tell the truth. dun think i'll go there again. altho the hot coffee and vodka combo was quite refreshing. other den that, thumbs down.. =(

on xmas day itself, we went to the new IKEA and Courts Megastore at tampeines! i know, weird way of celeb xmas.. lol. but we dun realli intend to do anything exciting. anyway, the 2 stores were HUGE! i think HUGE is the latest trend for buildings huh? 1st Vivo, then IKEA.. den Courts MEGAstore.. good for us anyway =p

i think i looked not bad =p many thanks to Val for saving my butt from getting a SMACK cuz she lent me her tube dress from Topshop!!

we went to Sheraton Hotel to use their scenery for photo taking.. other den us, there were 3 other couples taking wedding photos!!! On the expressway while travelling between their parents' houses, i think i saw at least 5 other bridal cars chaffeuring brides and grooms off to their in-laws homes!!

sigh... dun they look so happy? seeing them like this makes me feel dat marriage is such a beautiful thing..

but juz so u know, we had spent a long time on the road b4 finally reaching this place to take this beautiful picture. we were all panicking as the sky looked real dark and looming, like it was gonna pour real hard soon. rush here rush there.. the bride had to wear a 4-inch heels n her feet were sore.. we were tired out too from rushing to help her carry the back of her dress whenever she walks. gave all of us 2nd thots, 3rd thots and 4th thots abt marrying.. -__- so troublesome!!!

do u know the meaning of displacement? In terms of chemistry, displacement occurs when an ion of a higher energy value, it kicks out another one with lower energy value and takes its position.

displacement occurs not onli in chemistry. lately, i was displaced out of my workdesk. why am i still staying on? i cant wait to get out of there.

after the meal, both our faces were flushed red.. so funny to see 2 ppl red in the face when it's in bright daylight.. normalli ppl drink at nite rite.. haha

on fri nite after work.. i met up with val again for dinner.. had planned to go IndoChine for a drink and talk like some middle-aged women. and then, we tot dat since zara was juz round the corner, and it was still early for alcohol anyway, so... ... well the sweater was realli nice! n the price was reasonable too... =p ANYWAY we walked past this sweet giant fairytale book on the way there, and decided to take a photo wif it! isnt the castle nice?
we went to Borders too.. and i saw this Baby Blues book.. i was quite tired dat day, so i decided i could use a little cheering up... and now its sitting snugly (is there such a word?) in my bedroom =p
